What is NHL?
There are different types of NHL
There are 2 different kinds of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL):
- Indolent (or slow-growing) NHL – normally causes fewer symptoms because it grows slowly. But it can become more aggressive
- Aggressive (or fast-growing) NHL – grows faster and spreads more quickly throughout the body
The most common indolent NHL is
follicular lymphoma, which starts in the
lymph nodes, which are clusters of lymphatic tissue that are present in the neck, groin, armpits, and abdomen.
